Technology Thursday 24th of March

 For Technology my group did cooking. We made apple and cinnamon pancakes and Apple and rhubarb muffins crumble. The Pancakes were so good because we made a syrup with apples. Although we have not had the muffins yet. I'm sure they taste amazing!

Technology Thursday 10th of March

                                           Technology

Today My group for Technology did gardening. First, we went down to the school garden and got some gloves on. Then we dug out all the weeds in the garden and raked the soil. We planted Lupins and Mustard Seeds. Then we fed the worms chopped apple.

       Due to the Pandemic The Year 7&8 kids could not go to technology in Town. Our teacher Nic decided to make us a day where we have all the activities at school. Our choices were Cooking, Digital,  and Hard Materials. I chose to do Cooking, We made apple crumble and apple muffins. Do you Like Baking?

Lake Day

 This week Te Kinga went on a walk through the Velenski track. Before we left we were put into groups with a leader for the day. Since we had First Aid training the day before the leaders made pretend accidents and we had to save them. Kaelyn had hypothermia, Tara fell over, Jimi had a broken arm, Morgan got cut with wood and Tui got a burn from fire. Of course these are all fake so please don't think they are real. A few of them died and a few were alive. On the beach we made smores which was how Tui got 'burnt'. When we finished making the smores we packed up eveything and went back to school.

Hokitika Camp

                       Te King Hokitika camp 2021

                       Last week Te Kinga went on a Camp to Hokitia. We stayed at the Hokitika camp

                 ground for 3 days. As soon as we got there everyone got on the jumping pillow in the playground but 

        there  was a max of 10 so some went on diffrent things.  Our teacher had planned us 3 days of fun activities, 

         like Going on helicopters,The gorge,Lake kaneirie,Swimming,basketball and more. My favourite bit of camp

         was definietly the helicopter and the jumping pillow. i would defineitly love to go there again!!!
